-my identity is in Christ, I am a child of God and that is who I am! 

the brain
-my seemingly random growth of obsession for knowledge in the brain and its’ development must have emerged during the start of my early 20’s for some odd reason. probably an intuitive thing but it began which J.P. Moreland’s book “Love the Lord with all your Mind”, and led me to further discovery of neuroscience, even taking supplements like omega-3 and ginkgo biloba, researching the brain and learning basic brain functions as in neuroscience, and mental fitness in reading, writing, organizing, finding solutions, and problem solving.

In everything, I trust that God has led me through every stage of training in life and in this I am confident that the place in life that I am currently standing is exactly where God has led me to be.

I am convinced that the inherent pleasure of things is not to serve the immediate purpose of satiating a temporary desire. Of course, things are pleasurable. An iced-cold coke on a hot day, a kiss from a girlfriend, or a day of sloth and gluttony on a vacation holiday. All things have some sense of pleasure in itself, but the value of those things are not weighed by how pleasurable they are.

there is a sense of order though, and each pleasurable thing has an appropriate time and place. To make my point more clear: Sex before marriage is a childish decision because of the fact that sex, which is inherently pleasurable, is meant to proceed in its time and place between a man and woman who are both prepared to express affection in that way. Such is the case with all things that hold pleasure: there is a more appropriate time and place for them.

A temperate man will know not to touch certain things because of their sacredness. And its not because he enjoys the pain of self-denial. christians should realize that we are not called to deny pleasure or deny the self because we are strict legalists who are not allowed to enjoy life. Rather, through first having the necessary tools of proper living (the way we were designed to): Wisdom, Justice, and Temperance, we will be able to live and enjoy the earth and the presence of God correctly.

A wise man of God must build his home on the rock (by hearing the words of Jesus and putting them into practice), and by choosing his building tools (wisdom, justice, and temperance).

i’m really beginning to understand more of what it means to be a man of God.

Lord, Lead me as I aim to protect my conscious so that I may come to have a clean spirit without guilt or shame before you.

I’m determined to live a fun social life full of rewarding experiences - leaving lots of room for creative projects!

My lifestyle has been formed recently to the following responsibilities:

-A Calendar.
(I am now working at an Adult Daycare Center, as a Highschool Geometry Tutor, an instructor for a guitar class, and as a private guitar tutor) Income: $1580/month

-Paralegal Student taking 3 night-classes a week
(A great career investment opportunity that will hopefully become a great benefit to my life in the next year or so.) 

-A Relationship
(perhaps my favorite part of life at the moment. She is vibrant and alive. She is optimistic and driven. she has a “carpe diem” frame of mind and she is passionate toward her endeavors. and, she is beautiful.)

-Jr High Ministry Leader
(I am reminded on a weekly basis that Worship is something we must instruct to the following generations. It would be a great shame that they would be void of that life-defining lesson. And I have the privilege of exemplifying to the best of my ability a lifestyle of Worship that gives Reverence unto God. The spirit must win the flesh in war.)

-The Twenties is known as the defining decade because most of our brain shapes, forms, and changes during this time depending on our active use. My person goal is really just to move from my youthful ways into mastering the art of manliness. The key to this is to be ACTIVE!

“Change comes through action. Act first, then become.”

Jesus, my flesh is too active.
I have found that I, alone, cannot battle my flesh that rages war inside of me.

Lord, fill me with more of your Spirit.
so that the war inside may be won by you.

You alone have the power to overcome, victory belongs to you.
